About Singapore Judo Federation
The Singapore Judo Federation(SJF) is the national controlling body for the sport of Judo in Singapore. Formed in 1965, SJF oversees the pathway development, coaching and officiating development and the high-performance system for judo stakeholders in Singapore.
The Singapore Judo Federation is recognized by Sport Singapore as the official National Sports Association(NSA) for Judo, and is affiliated to the Singapore National Olympic Commitee(SNOC), the International Judo Federation (IJF), the General Association of the Asia Pacific Sports Federation (GAAPSF) and the Kodokan Judo Institute in Japan.
SJF is run by a group of volunteers who form the Management Committee, as well as a Secretariat consisting of 1 full-time staff. On top of that, SJF oversees the Singapore Judo National Team through the High Perfomance Management Team consisting of the High-Performance Manager, Head National Coach and various appointed National Coaches.
