Sports Excellence (SPEX)

 

SPEX is a Sport Singapore ( SportSG) sponsored programme to nurture and support athlete with potential to represent Singapore in international 

competitions. There are various aspects of SPEX, including financial support for athletes, medical insurance coverage and Singapore Spors Institute(SSI) support.

As the official National Sports Association(NSA) for Judo, athletes who are members of SJF affiliated clubs are eligibe to be SpexCarded.

Judo athletes may refer to SJF's SpexCarding and SPEX Training Assistance Grant ( SpexTAG) Policy to understand how SJF manages SpexCarded athletes. The policy is in keeping with existing guidelines and regulations set by SportSG.
